Bratton Underhill and Odell Parker were wed Jan. 14, 1943 in Rossville, Ga., marking 75 years together. The DeKalb County natives met while in elementary school, and wed when she was 17 and he was 19. The couple remembers riding a bus from McMinnville, accompanied by his cousin, to Georgia to be married.
