The 100th day of school is literally day 100 of classroom training, and the perfect opportunity for teachers to focus on mathematical concepts. Some believe the concept of 100 can be applied to any subject, varying from 100 books, to 100 vocabulary words and even 100 exercises in gym class. The special day varies from school to school, depending on starting time, days off for inclement weather or teacher workshops, but usually occurs in mid-February.
