THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 173

Meeting held the first Thursday of each month at Billy’s Restaurant 2822 Nashville Hwy. McMinnville, TN 37110. Dinner at 5:00 p.m. Meeting at 6:00 p.m. Please try to attend.

The American Legion Post 173 will be collecting nonperishable food items at the Friday, July 10, 2015 Main Street Live concert (6 pm – 9pm). There will be collection boxes available near the stage and the Main Street McMinnville Tent.

The American Legion Post 173 will hold their Annual Membership Drive on Thursday July 16, 2015 at the Warren County Memorial Airport from 5 to 7 pm. All members and their family members living in their household are invited. Any perspective members are also welcome. We will be serving BBQ again this year. There is no charge, however donations that help defray the cost will be accepted. We will have some real nice door prizes this year and some special guests so please come and enjoy the comradery.

VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 5064 & AUXILIARIES

Meeting held on at VFW Post 5064 on Thursday, July 16, 2015.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and meeting to follow at 7:00 p.m. 

Past President Phyllis Barnes, who is now the Tennessee State President, will be en route to the National Convention in Pennsylvania on July 17, 2015.  We wish her a safe and successful meeting.
