David Williams, pictured with wife Susan Rogers, opened Northside Video with 109 movies in December of 1983, six months after graduating from high school. A longtime movie buff, David paid $500 for his first VCR, a used model.
Movies sometimes offer interesting concepts. The blockbuster “Unbreakable” is one of those examples, a film where hero Bruce Willis was pitted against antagonist Samuel L. Jackson in the traditional fight of good versus evil.
