Business Pulse - Foodland Plus mystery has community talking

Foodland Plus has been known for its friendly customer service from employees like, from left, Debbie Elrod, Diana Cunningham, Amanda Dunahee and Pam Adcock. The ladies have been wearing red on Fridays to show support for our deployed troops. Diana’s son, Kyle Cunningham, is deployed in South Korea with the U.S. Air Force.
The business news that has everybody talking over the past couple weeks is what’s happening with Foodland Plus. Customers have noticed the shelves are growing increasingly bare and the 20 percent, then 30 percent, discounts the past few days indicate the desire to move groceries with a chop-chop.
