The 11th annual Citizens for Progress charity concert will occur Saturday evening, March 30 at the downtown Park Theatre.

The headliner group will be the Classic Rock All Stars from Nashville. The show begins at 7 p.m. at the Park with the WCHS Select Choir singing the national anthem. All seats are at the Park will be reserved seats with a ticket price of $30 each. Tickets can be purchased online through www.eventbrite.com.

All proceeds from this concert will go to the CFP Scholarship Fund which began in July 2007. Almost $1 million has been raised over the 12 years to provide funds for youth of Warren County for higher education.

Due to the expansion of dual enrollment classes at Warren County High School, demand for CFP funds will hit a recent high during the (next) 2018-19 academic year. Dual enrollment means WCHS students can take Motlow/TCAT classes while in high school.  This can be from one class to a full time status at Motlow College and/or TCAT while going full time at WCHS.

Motlow has created a “Middle College” at WCHS to make it easy for students to go full time at Motlow and WCHS. TCAT has/ is rapidly expanded dual enrollment options at WCHS to speed up time needed to reach a certificate program in welding, culinary arts, machine shop technology, and construction trades. TN Promise does not provide tuition funding for dual enrollment, so our CFP program becomes a primary means for most WCHS students.
