Visitors throughout the nation will descend on Warren County this weekend for the first-ever World Peace Day celebration at the Isha Institute of Inner-Sciences.Organizers are expecting a crowd between 800 and 1,000.Isha is a 1,100-acre development located off Highway 8 atop Harrison Ferry Mountain. With a remote mountain setting, Isha has been offering meditation retreats for years.World Peace Day is a different venture with activities that will include food booths, roundtable discussions, meditation, and an outdoor concert by L.A.-based alt rock band The Mowgli’s.World Peace Day comes amid continued bloodshed in the Middle East and random acts of murder right here in America. On Monday, 13 people were killed in a workplace shooting in Washington, D.C.“That’s exactly why this is needed,” said Alison Murry, one of the World Peace Day organizers.
