Woman caught with meth

An ill-advised attempt to smuggle meth into the county jail will cost a local woman 160 extra days behind bars.The woman, Rebecca Wilder, 30, was directed by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to serve 160 days of a three-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for introduction of drugs into a penal institution and simple possession of drugs. She will be furloughed from jail to the Healing Hearts rehab facility when space becomes available.Wilder ended up at Warren County Jail after she and a friend were arrested by police during a traffic stop. McMinnville Police Sgt. Ben Cantrell said he realized the two women were wanted on outstanding warrants when he stopped them.
