McMinnville officials may not have to concern themselves with brightening the road in front of Warren County High School at night.According to Mayor Jimmy Haley during last week’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting, the Warren County School Board has applied for a safety grant to replace the lighting the city removed as a cost-saving measure on electricity.“We haven’t acted on it yet, so they have decided to apply for a grant to replace the lights out there,” Haley said. “It’s moving forward. I’m not sure where the process is at.”What city officials have yet to act on is a measure to return up to $30,000 worth of streetlights throughout the city.
