The Warren County High School baseball team won the District 6-AAA Tournament on Thursday night with an 8-3 victory over Cookeville.

Pitcher Logan Underhill got the win, while Chase Frye belted 5 RBIs.

The wins gives the Pioneers a home game against Soddy Daisy in the region tournament. That game is scheduled for Monday night.

Soddy Daisy enters the region tournament tilt with a 20-16 record. The Trojans lost their district championship game 1-0.

The Pioneers will be hoping for a packed house at Patrick Ramsey Field as they continue their postseason surge. For more information, see Sunday's edition of the Standard.
