A 49-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:
• Jodie West was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for domestic assault.
• Timothy Johnson was bound to the grand jury on charges of DUI, fifth-offense driving on a revoked license, violation of habitual traffic offender status, and misuse of registration. He had his probation revoked and must serve the balance of his former sentence.
• Thomas Miller was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,100 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI class and lose his driver license for one year for DUI and simple possession of drugs.
• Lee Ballew was directed to serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for driving on a revoked license.
• Freddy Ramirez was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI class and lose his driver license for one year for DUI and driving without a license.
• Luis Bartolo, Tammy Edwards, Angelia Carroll, Kyle Turner, Hilary Taylor, Rachel Pack, Charles White, Ralph Pease Jr., Amy Grissom, Anna Morrison and Jose Gutierrez were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.

Local talent heads to Park

The next installment of The Park Theater’s Local Connection Concert Series is set to take center stage this Saturday, April 5 with Tito Gomez.

The Local Connection Concert Series put on The Park Theater focuses on talent sourced from the community. Gomez began his music career 14 years ago with a local band and has since released his solo album, “Lo Que Habia Soñado,” in 2016. He was born in Los Angeles, California but is well-known in the Warren County community as Victor Gomez.

Saturday night’s show will entail the singer-songwriter’s regional Mexican music, such as “El Oscar” or “Soy Edgar,” which is Gomez’s most popular song on Spotify.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and is expected to last approximately two hours. General admission is $15 and tickets can be purchased on Park Theater’s website, mcminnvilleparktheater.com, by phone at (931) 506-2787 or at its box office during normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. If available, a limited number of tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event, while supplies last.
