Breanna Lynn Taylor of McMinnville has been chosen to retain the Rhonda “Roni” and Max Jarrell Nursing Scholarship for the second consecutive academic year at Motlow College.
“Nursing school is very hard to accomplish unless you have a great support system,” Taylor explained. “Along with my mother and father, family, friends and classmates, Roni and Max have been wonderful. They are there when you need them for any advice or help. I am thankful they have been so gracious to give a scholarship to students who want to better themselves.”
Added Jan Rogers, director of advancement for the Motlow College Foundation, “We are very fortunate to have generous donors such as the Jarrells, who value education enough to give not only scholarship dollars but also their time to serve as mentors for our students. As a nurse Roni has worked in health care for many years and shares her knowledge with students as well as encouraging them when the going gets tough.
The Motlow College Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization. To find out more about setting up a scholarship fund, contact Ms. Rogers at 931-393-1692 or email her at jrogers@mscc.edu. Visit the Motlow College Foundation online at www.mscc.edu/advancement.
