A man who stole a newspaper now finds himself in its pages after police discovered he was an unregistered sex offender.The suspect, Jayme Bryon Wilson, 41, was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violation of the sexual offender registry. He could face up to two years in prison if he is convicted of the felony.His recent arrest came after he reportedly took two Southern Standards from a newspaper box in front of Cleaner’s Express. The owner of the establishment saw him taking the papers without paying after another person had paid to get a paper and the door was still open.The police and the newspaper office were called as the man left the scene, vowing to return.“I didn’t think there was a chance he’d come back,” admitted Southern Standard editor James Clark, who responded to the scene.
