CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Two men have been indicted on charges in the killing of a 2-year-old boy and attempted killings of three other people.

Media outlets report a Montgomery County grand jury indicted 24-year-old David Wi and 21-year-old Zackery Alexander Tuesday on numerous charges, including premeditated first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree premeditated murder.

Court documents say Wi and Alexander are accused of conspiring to kill Wi's stepson, Joseph Bankston, who was fatally shot by Alexander Oct. 4 at a Clarksville home. They're also accused of attempting to kill Alicia Bankston, Wi's ex-wife; Lilly Wi, their daughter; and Brandon Jimenez, Alicia Bankston's boyfriend.

Arrest warrants say Wi was involved in a custody dispute with Alicia Bankston and had life insurance policies on the toddler, his estranged wife and Lilly Wi.
