Anyone who sends cards or letters may want to stock up on forever stamps now. Stamp prices are set to increase to 49 cents on Jan. 26.The U.S. Postal Regulatory Commission has approved a temporary price hike of 3 cents for a first-class stamp in an effort to help the Postal Service recover from severe mail decreases brought on by the 2008 economic downturn. Similar changes will apply to magazines, bills and advertising mail.
