A teen who pelted his ex-girlfriend with full beer cans was granted probation on domestic assault charges.The defendant, Carlos P. Quezada, 19, was handed an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence and must undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for domestic assault.Quezada was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend while they were inside a store on Skyline Drive. The assault, according to the victim, began with him hitting her in the head.“He hit me once in the left side of my face with his fist,” the woman swore in the warrant against Quezada, noting the teen then picked up beer cans and began throwing them at her. “He threw two 12-ounce cans of beer at me, hitting me on the upper left side of my chest leaving a red mark.”Before leaving the store, the teen shoved the victim one more time, throwing her up against the counter.
