During Monday night’s meeting of the Warren County Safety committee, County Executive John Pelham announced the retirement as of April 30, of Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Percy Phifer. The committee voted to have Former Deputy Director Jim Cunningham serve as Acting Interim EMA Director until County Executive John Pelham appoints a new director. Mr. Cunningham has served as Deputy Director for over 20 years.Phifer was Director of EMA for 7 1/2 years.
