If you’re eager to eat some mouth-watering Georgia peaches grown on trees from McMinnville, now is the time to buy for peaches to be delivered in July.
July is the prime time to eat Georgia peaches. It’s when they reach their flavorful peak. These peaches will be hand-picked 24 to 36 hours before you receive them and trucked from Woodbury, Ga.
The cost is $25 for an 8-9 pound box of 21-24 Georgia peaches. The great thing is your peach order benefits a local organization.
With your order, you can choose which of these local groups will receive a $10 donation: WCHS winter guard, McMinnville swim team, Relay for Life, Covenant Academy, Warren Academy, West Elementary, or Irving College School.
Ordering is as easy as stopping by the Southern Standard office or you can place your order online at www.bdfundraising.com. The last day to order your peaches is July 3.
Peaches will be delivered on Monday, July 13, behind USA Gym on South Chancery Street. Pick up your peaches between 8 and 10 a.m. or 4 to 6 p.m. Please remember to bring your voucher to verify your purchase.
