In response to concerns the Standard’s recent online poll is not an accurate reflection of the General Sessions Judge race, the newspaper wants to stress the poll is not scientific.Due to programming issues with our website, one person can vote multiple times to skew the results. The program is set to only allow one vote per user for a 24-hour period, but people have found a way to bypass that restriction. The newspaper encourages everyone to go to the polls and vote for the candidate of their choice and not be swayed in their decision by an online poll.
