CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — A Nissan spokesman in Tennessee said the Japanese automaker is not ready to say if an agreement to build Mercedes-Benz gasoline engines at Nissan's plant at Decherd will create new jobs. Daimler and Renault-Nissan said Sunday that production of the four-cylinder engines at Nissan's Decherd plant is set to begin in 2014. Engines from the factory will be used in Mercedes-Benz and Nissan Infiniti cars.
