A local man was found dead beside the road Thursday morning in neighboring DeKalb County the victim of an apparent motorcycle accident.The victim, identified as William Larry Dyle II, 41, was found dead at the scene of the crash off Smithville Highway (Highway 56).According to highway patrol reports, Dyle was riding a 2007 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle in a southbound direction, toward McMinnville, when he failed to negotiate a curve near the Smithville city limits.Dyle ran off the side of the road and struck two mailboxes and a utility pole before being thrown from the bike. He was found lying 10 yards from his cycle by people out walking just after 6 a.m. Thursday morning leaving the exact time of the crash a mystery. Dyle was wearing a helmet.
