Sheriff Jackie Matheny was elected to a sixth term of office Thursday, topping his former chief deputy on his way to another landslide victory.It was never close as Matheny carried every district, with only Fairview being remotely close. Matheny took 67 percent of the vote, finishing with 5,452 votes. His closest competitor, Danice Taylor, got 2,241 votes.
