A masked gunman robbed the Shell Station on New Smithville Highway early Sunday morning.The armed robber remained at large at press time last night with police revealing no suspects have emerged.According to McMinnville police detective Derwin Adcock, the gunman walked into Shell around 3:44 a.m. Sunday and confronted the lone female clerk with a gun.“He held the gun and told the clerk to give him the money,” Adcock said, noting she was forced to fill a bag with cash and give it to the robber. He then left on foot. A description of a get-away vehicle, if any, is not known.
