A man charged with a variety of offenses – including stealing four-wheelers, delivering morphine, and possessing a handgun as a convicted felon – was given 150 days in jail.James Wesley Thrower was given three separate 150-day sentences by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley, but was allowed to serve them all at the same time for a 150-day total.By virtue of his plea agreement, Thrower had four charges dismissed, including the charge of unlawful possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.Thrower’s trouble began in May 2010 when he was among a group of three men charged with stealing two four-wheelers and one motorcycle from Smartt’s Scooters on Manchester Highway. Jeffery Lynn Roberts and Robbie C. Ward were the other two indicted on that occasion. The three vehicles were valued over $1,000, but under $10,000.
