A collision at the intersection of Mullican Street and US-70S E (bypass) Thursday evening disrupted traffic and reportedly injured all seven occupants of the two vehicles involved.

According to the Tennessee Electronic Traffic Crash Report filed by Investigating Officer Jonathan Davenport, at 5:58 p.m. Thursday a black 2007 Chevy Silverado driven by 58-year-old David Andrew Hall and containing passengers Misty Hall, 45, and a minor, collided with a red 2017 Chevy Impala driven by 21-year-old Victor Juarez and containing three teenage passengers.

The report states Hall was traveling outbound on the 70 Bypass when the red Impala pulled out in front of him at the intersection with Mullican St.

Juarez, the driver of the Impala, told Officer Davenport he was traveling inbound on the 70 Bypass when he attempted to make a left turn onto Mullican St. Juarez stated he didn't see the Silverado and didn't remember what happened after making the left turn.

Video footage obtained by the McMinnville Police Department from Korner Market showed the Impala failed to yield the right of way when making the left turn, causing the two vehicles to collide in the intersection and coming to rest at the end of Mullican Street with the Silverado facing Mullican Street and the Impala facing 70 Bypass. The report states the vehicles were still in contact upon the officer's arrival.

The 16-year-old front passenger of the Impala was trapped inside the vehicle and was reported as having sustained "suspected serious injury." She was freed from the vehicle by the McMinnville Fire Department using the jaws of life. The six others involved were all listed as having "suspected minor injury." All seven were transported to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital for treatment.

Juarez was cited with driving without a driver's license and failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
