Wonderland of Trees at 3 Star Mall
Road Superintendent Levie Glenn shows a heart that's in memory of his father, Harold.

Wonderland of Trees is in full merriment at Three Star Mall.
“I like this one,” said Jody Hoover, 5, of the tree presented by Express Motors. “This is my favorite.”
Called “Express Highway,” the tree features toy cars and trucks, road signs, lights, black garland that resembles striped roadway, and a handmade intersection light on top.
Caring Hearts United is in its sixth year of offering the charitable event that raises funds to bring assistance to hospice patients in Warren and surrounding counties. A large assortment of donated Christmas trees, wreaths, centerpieces, gingerbread houses and many more items are on display around the mall for viewing and bidding. Guests have the opportunity to place bids on the items, hoping to take the prize home at the end of the activity.
Visitors can also “share the thought of someone special” in memory or in honor. For $1, their name can be placed on a wooden heart and hung on a tree called “Feel you in my Heart Trees.” The trees remain exhibited through the remainder of the holiday season and proceeds go to Caring Hearts United.
Road Superintendent Levie Glenn honored the memory of his father, Harold, on Wednesday.
“This is to my dad,” said Glenn, as he hung the heart on the tree.
Wonderland of Trees will offer two special fun-filled days on Friday, Nov. 11 from 5-7 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free entertainment. Plus, there’s a children’s activity area with coloring contest, writing letters to Santa, crafts, gifts, etc.
