There will be Fourth of July baby shows on two separate days – July 3 in McMinnville, and July 5 in Midway.

Days of celebration filled with ice cream, fireworks, and baby shows await local residents next weekend as Warren County soaks in the glory of America’s independence.

With the Fourth of July falling on a Sunday, activities will begin next Friday, July 2 and continue through Monday, July 5. No official activities are scheduled for July 4.

The spread out schedule of events will give fireworks enthusiasts the chance to see fireworks shows on three separate nights. The Dr Pepper Fireworks Show is scheduled for Friday, July 2 at Milner Recreation Center beginning at 9 p.m.

The following night, Morrison Ruritan will have its fireworks on Saturday, July 3, at 9 p.m.

Organizers at Midway CIC have made the decision to conduct their community celebration in its entirety on Monday, July 5. Midway fireworks are set for Monday night at 10 p.m.

Highlights of McMinnville’s downtown celebration next Saturday, July 3, include the 40th annual Stars and Stripes Fun Run and Walk, the Yankee Doodle Children’s Parade, and the Mr. and Miss Stars and Stripes Pageant.

Morrison Ruritan will have a scaled-down celebration Saturday evening with the opening ceremony set for 5 p.m. There won’t be a baby show, but there will be Bingo, a cornhole tournament, cake walk, and live entertainment.

Midway will have its full schedule of events the following Monday with a baby show, live music, softball games, and a pie contest.
