Have you been wanting to check out a show at the Park Theater but haven't gotten around to it yet? There's no better time than Saturday night at 7 p.m. as the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters will be presenting a free performance.

The Sea Chanters, who last graced the Park stage in March, 2019, are a mixed chorus which performs choral music, sea shanties, patriotic songs, Broadway show tunes and contemorary music.

Founded in 1956, the Sea Chanters are a unit of the U.S. Navy Band, based in Washigton D.C. The group performs for the president, vice president and many other dignitaries. They have also appeared at many national events and on television.

Sea Chanter Musician First Class Ryan Connelly, a tenor vocalist, is excited about the upcoming show and invites everyone to check it out. “The Sea Chanters chorus is delighted to bring America’s Navy to the community of McMinnville. The concert is sure to be entertaining to audiences of all ages, offering a little something for everyone and celebrates the men and women who proudly serve in our great Navy each and every day.”

Seating is general admission and all are welcome but those interested in attending are asked to reserve a free ticket at mcminnvilleparktheater.com, at the Park Theater box office or by calling (931) 506-2787. Doors open at 6 p.m.
