A West Riverside teen has been indicted for selling a boy’s four-wheeler and pocketing the cash. The suspect, Colton Gene Young, 18, has been indicted on the charge of grand theft, a Class D felony which carries two to four years in prison.According to McMinnville police detective Marty Cantrell, the victim in the case, a 14-year-old boy, told his mother he had given his 2004 Honda Rancher to Young under the pretense of having it fixed. However, instead of servicing the ATV, police say Young sold it.“During the time the Honda Rancher was in the possession of Young, he disposed of it by selling it,” Cantrell said.Cantrell said his investigation showed that after Young sold the ATV it was taken to the Knoxville area by the buyer.“He sold the Honda Rancher without the permission or consent of the rightful owner,” Cantrell noted.
