Summer concerts wrap up Friday

Alvarado Road Show will take the Main Street Live stage this Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m. The band is the final performance of the season. However, the band Four on the Floor was rained out and rescheduled for Oct. 8.

The Main Street Live summer concert series continues this Friday night with country music from the Alvarado Road Show.
The band is out of Nashville and features a brother duo with Cleve Clark and A.J. Clark. The brothers create and perform rootsy American music about life, love and relationships.
The band’s biography says, “When you witness one of their performances, they will paint a colorful picture with words, notes and heart through warm blends of harmony that will move and forever change the way you experience music.”
The guys frequently tell stories of the days they played in a chicken coop and in front of a laundry mat from years ago, and of the road that led them to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
“Some of those early shows might not have been the coolest, but they are some of the most memorable. We count them just as important as the big stages,” said A.J.
Cleve adds, “Without those shows, we wouldn’t be who we are today.”
The two are known for their ability to deliver the songs that they themselves have tailored to bear their souls.
“We try not to be afraid to open up and be real,” said Cleve. “That’s where our songs come from. Our lives, our experiences, our families and understanding we live in a world of extreme joy and sorrow.”
Main Street Live is a family oriented event presented by Main Street McMinnville. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited and smoking is not allowed in the crowd. All animals need to be leashed and owners must clean up after their pets.
Alvarado Road Show will take the stage at 7 p.m. on the West Lawn of Security Federal. Opening for the band will be Trey Binkley at 6 p.m.
There will be a variety of food and beverages available from vendors beginning at 6 p.m. Parking and admission are free. Bring a chair and enjoy the music.
