Speedy motorcycle chase leads to charges for repeat runner

Topping speeds of 115 mph on a motorcycle with a woman clinging to his back, a man with a need for speed fled the law for a second time in just over a month.The fugitive, Anthony Steven Alley, 41, has a long history of fleeing apprehension and has been placed under $150,000 bond pending his hearing before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke on June 6 concerning his latest high-speed exploits. The woman who was clinging to him on the back of the motorcycle, Brianna Wolf, has also been charged with evading arrest. She will face hearing this Thursday.The chase began as sheriff’s investigators were looking into a string of burglaries in the Shellsford Road area near its intersection with Spencer Highway (Highway 30).“A red and white sport motorcycle was found parked near the victims’ residences,” said sheriff’s K-9 officer Jared Jacobs, noting he spotted Alley and Wolf near the motorcycle and turned around to talk to them.
