A Salem Road couple faces narcotics charges after a raid on their home in which officers found an indoor marijuana growing house.Jason Richard Nunley, 31, and Paige Lynn Simmons, 26, are charged with manufacture of marijuana and possession of drugs.Sheriff’s officers raided their home and quickly began finding narcotics, beginning in the bedroom.“Items included, but were not limited to, 19 Alprazolam pills, digital scales, grinders, rolling papers, marijuana pipe and approximately 3.5 grams of methamphetamine,” revealed sheriff’s investigator Steven Carpenter.Additional charges came after lawmen began to search the perimeter of the house.“There was an indoor marijuana grow house located inside a shed behind the residence,” Carpenter said. “There were seven marijuana plants inside the shed along with grow lights, Miracle Grow (plant food) and a power source.”The investigator added four more marijuana plants were found outside the shed along with a bag of potting soil.
