Parks presents free movie Saturday

The Disney movie "Moana" will be shown this Saturday at the Civic Center on Cat Walker Field. Showtime is 6 p.m.
Nothing beats a movie and popcorn, except several free movies with free popcorn.McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a free movie every month through November so mark your calendar for these family-oriented events.“We are showing movies again this year,” said Kendra Foust, McMinnville Parks and Recreation program coordinator. “They were a big hit last year and we wanted to continue them. We hope everyone comes out and enjoys them.”Movie nights:Saturday, April 15, at 6 p.m. “Moana” will be shown at Cat Walker Field;Saturday, May 20, at 7 p.m. “Monster Trucks” will be shown at Cat Walker Field;Saturday, June 10, a Drive-in Movie will be offered at Gilley Pool at 7 p.m. The movie has not been determined;Tuesday, July 4, at 11 a.m. “Jaws” (1975) will be shown at Park Theater;Saturday, July 15, at 7 p.m. “The Secret Life of Pets” will be shown outdoors at McMinnville Civic Center;Friday, Aug. 11.
