A missing 3-year-old has been found in Florida but his father is still the subject of a nationwide manhunt. The child, Jackson Duane Haggins, was dropped off at his aunt’s house Thursday by his father, Cecil Corey Haggins.“He left the child with his sister and took off again,” said Sheriff’s Department chief deputy Tommy Myers, noting the boy had been with his fugitive father for a week before he was delivered to the aunt unharmed. “We’re still looking for Mr. Haggins and he is still the point of a nationwide search even though the child is safe.”Haggins absconded with his son after Warren County lawmen raided his Old Shelbyville Road home Oct. 19 and found seven ounces of methamphetamine. While investigators did not believe he would harm his son, they worried about his having the toddler with him while he fled authorities across state lines.
