A traffic stop in Van Buren County has led to the discovery of an estimated half million dollars worth of methamphetamine.Putnam County resident Jessie Carter was arrested Saturday after five pounds of meth were discovered in his car. He is being held at Van Buren County Jail under $750,000 bond.Five pounds is a huge amount of meth and not typical of a drug bust in this area. Warren County Sheriff Jackie Matheny, who has been fighting meth for decades, says his department has never found five pounds of meth in one arrest.
