A suspected killer was found hiding in the woods in Van Buren County on Friday morning after he allegedly stabbed a man to death Thursday.Bayless Eugene Sullivan, 39, has been charged with one count of criminal homicide and is being held at Van Buren County Jail under $500,000 bond.He is charged in the stabbing death of Charles Leo Caldwell, 32.According to a TBI report, Van Buren County deputies and EMS personnel were dispatched to 80 Sleepy Hollow Road in Spencer. Upon arrival, they found Caldwell suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.During the course of the investigation, agents developed information that led to Sullivan as the person responsible for Caldwell’s death.Early Friday morning, with the assistance of investigators with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department, and the District Attorney’s office, Sullivan was taken into custody in a wooded area close to 956 Hill Road in Spencer.
