Main Street Live music begins Friday
Shawn Savage will take the stage this Friday at Main Street Live.

The wait is over. The Main Street Live summer concert series kicks off this Friday night with newcomer Shawn Savage taking the stage.
“I’m excited to visit McMinnville and play Main Street Live,” said Savage.
Savage, a rock/country singer, is a native of Tennessee. He grew up a fan of country music, both old and new, but his biggest musical influence may have been his dad, Bob Savage, an elementary music instructor for over 20 years. From an early age, Savage found a love for music and started playing the trumpet and piano.
Members of Savage’s band have been playing music with him for various amounts of time. The senior members of the group are Jordan Parker and Lee Austin who have been playing with Shawn for about five years. Lead guitarist Ryan Williams has been playing in the band for two years. The newest member is drummer Lael Eccard, who has been playing in the group for about three months.
Savage is recording his debut album at Sony ATV Music in Nashville. Among his original works are: “She’s Like Your Favorite Song,” “Close to You,” “What You’re Doing to Me," and “The Country Side of Me.” Along with a budding writing and performing career, he teaches private music lessons in Lebanon.
Shawn Savage will take the stage at 7 p.m. on the West Lawn of Security Federal. Opening for Savage will be Phil and Jack Holland at 6 p.m. Phil won first place at the first Dottie West Fest back in the 1990s and Jack used to do the local radio show with Kelly Marlow.
There will be a variety of food and beverages available from vendors beginning at 6 p.m. Parking and admission are free. Bring a chair and enjoy the music.
