This event is now combined with the Cans and Cars cruise-in and will be held this Saturday at Three Star Mall starting at 5 p.m. until everyone decides to leave.

“We decided to combine with Cans and Cars cruise-in to increase the amount of donations,” said Blaine Wilcher, event organizer. “We are moving to the mall to make all the cars and trucks more visible to the people of the community.”

Participation in Kruise-in for Kids is by donation only. This event is free of charge.

Each and every donor, no matter the amount, will be given a complimentary dash plaque. Different dash plaques will be given each month thanks to the Kruise-in sponsorships.

Kenny Moffitt of Woodmen Insurance, along with others, will be helping with the organization of these many events.

All cars, trucks, motorcycles, and race cars are encouraged to attend. There will be music and prizes.

Car enthusiasts are reminded to bring a can food item for the food bank also.

All money raised goes to the Kids of the Community, a community-based, entirely volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to the ideal all the children have a right to be important, the right to be recognized, and the right to learn fundamental core values from responsible adults.
