General Sessions Criminal Court dockets were heard on Monday, Dec. 4 by Judge Ryan J. Moore. Included in Monday’s actions:
• James Berg was found guilty for failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Shireia McKinley pleaded guilty for failure to keep a minor child in school and was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Criminal Court and Arraignment dockets were heard on Tuesday, Dec. 5 by Judge Ryan J. Moore. Included in Tuesday’s actions:
• Angela M. Acuna was sentenced to 10 days in jail, plus court costs for a failure to appear.
• Caleb Caraway pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a violation of state park rules and regulations for entering a prohibited area and was ordered to stay away from Rock Island State Park for six months.
• Joshua Grissom pleaded guilty to a violation of bond conditions and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, plus court costs.
• Lindsey Hunter King pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. He also pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, successfully complete the Caring Dads program, banned from coming around or communicating with the victim, pay court costs and a $350 fine. These sentences run concurrently.
• Christopher Doyle Leverett pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
• Ashley Savage Lewis pleaded guilty to violation of bond conditions and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days supervised probation, court costs, and ordered to stay away from the victim.
• Charles Edward Morgan, Jr. was sentenced to 10 days in jail for a failure to appear, plus court costs.
• Destiny Kay Swoveland pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs.
• Justin Foster Wilson pleaded guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation, $250 fine, plus court costs.
• Kenny Lynn Arnold had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with solicitation and sexual exploitation of a minor.
• Dakota R. Bennett pleaded guilty to theft of merchandise/shoplifting and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $75 contribution to the economic crime fund, pay restitution to victim, pay court costs and banned from victim’s premises.
• Jacob Bouldin was admitted into the Second Chance Program. He was ordered to successfully complete an anger management course and pay court costs. This matter will be reviewed in June. He is charged with domestic assault.
• Logan Justin Collins pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, plus court costs.
• Thurman William Crisp pleaded guilty to a violation of probation and was revoked to serve his six month sentence in jail. He also pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to six months to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, pay a $750 fine, undergo an alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment and pay court costs. He pleaded guilty to two other violations of probation and the court extended each sentence by 11 months and 29 days. These sentences run consecutively.
• Gary W. Duggin was admitted into the Second Chance Program and was ordered to successfully complete an anger management course, have no contact with the victim and pay court costs. This matter will be reviewed in June. He is charged with domestic assault.
• William Eakes pleaded guilty to simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to 6 months supervised probation, $1,000 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to another count of simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to 6 months supervised probation and a $250 fine. He also pleaded guilty to a third count of simple possession of a schedule VI substance and was sentenced to 6 months supervised probation and a $250 fine. These sentences run concurrently. He also pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine.
• Troy Hoover pleaded guilty to a DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $350 fine, successfully complete the alcohol safety education class, attend the victim impact panel, loss of driving privileges for one year, 24 hours of community service and pay court costs. He also pleaded guilty to simple possession of cocaine and was sentenced to11 months and 29 days on supervised probation with the adult recovery court, and $750 fine. These sentences run concurrently.
• Dakota B. Ledbetter pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation with the adult recovery court, pay court costs, and successfully complete the Caring Dad’s Program.
• Joshua Kyle Lewis had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind his case to the grand jury. He is charged with coercion of a witness.
• Jennifer Martin had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind her cases to the grand jury. She is charged with felony theft, misdemeanor theft, and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. The court also imposed a bond condition that she be banned from the victim’s residence.
A failure to appear was issued against Kimberly Miller and her bond was forfeited. She is now being held without bond and is charged with a violation of probation.
• A failure to appear was issued against Elijah Murphy and his bond was forfeited. He is now being held without bond and is charged with a violation of probation.
• Oscar Garcia Palacios was admitted into the Second Chance Program and was ordered to complete an anger management course, pay court costs and have no contact with the victim. This matter will be reviewed in June. He is charged with domestic assault.
• Tyrone Ramsey waived his right to a preliminary hearing and bound his case to the grand jury. He is charged with tampering with evidence, simple possession and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
• Christian Romero was admitted into the Second Chance Program and ordered to successfully complete an anger management course, pay court costs, and have no contact with the victim. This matter will be reviewed in June. He is charged with domestic assault.
• John Michael Smith was sentenced to 18 days in the Warren County Jail for indecent exposure, plus court costs.
• James Joshua Fred Turner pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal trespass and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to possession of burglary tools and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation and ordered to stay off of the victim’s property. These sentences run consecutively.
• Steven L. Waller had a preliminary hearing and the court found probable cause to bind the following counts to the grand jury: possession of schedule II drugs cocaine with the intent to resale, possession of schedule VI drugs marijuana with the intent to resale, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with the intent to commit a dangerous felony.
