Farmelo announces candidacy for 11th District Constable
Ed Farmelo color

I am Ed Farmelo. I am seeking election for constable of District 11. I currently serve as a public safety officer with McMinnville Police Department and I wish to expand my involvement with local law enforcement.

I have the support of most constables in the Warren County Constables Association as well as numerous county and city officers. I currently meet or exceed the in-service training requirements to serve as constable.

I have been a resident of Warren County and the Midway community for 28 years.

I have been married to Fran Farmelo for 50 years and we have four generations living here in Warren County, three daughters, six grandchildren and 1.5 great-grandchildren.

I am retired from both Chrysler Eng-ineering and Clayton Corp-oration. Since retirement, my time is spent working on the farm, riding motorcycles, traveling and working as a safety officer.

If elected, I plan on working to set up Neighborhood Watch programs, promote CPR classes and improve response time to emergencies. Constables in other districts are actively doing these programs.

Please remember voting for a constable is a serious matter. Constables have the authority to enforce all county, and state laws. You as a voter choose the person who you feel is best qualified to handle the power and responsibility that go with the office.

Working as a city safety officer has giving me experience working with law enforcement. I believe I am best qualified to be your constable.

Please vote for me in the Aug 2 election. Remember you can vote early from July 13-28 at the county building on Locust Street.
