The Warren County A& L Fair has your ticket for fun, literally.
The new carnival ride provider this year is Crescent City Amusement and rides will be open for all nine days in what will be the 68th installment of the fair.
Let the countdown begin! The fair is just 26 days away.
In keeping with the times, fair books can now be accessed in digital format at https:// warrencountyalfair.org/ 2022FairBook.pdf. Fair president Regan Kelsey said he hopes the printed version of the fair book will arrive this coming week.
One notable change is the AAUW Baby Show moves from its traditional Wednesday afternoon time slot to Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2:30 p.m. That Sunday will also be the time for a brand new event, Fittest of the Fair, to begin at 3 p.m.
The traditional Sunday afternoon gospel singing has been removed from the schedule.
The headline entertainer is none other than David Lee Murphy, who will take the stage Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. He may be best known for his smash hit “Dust on the Bottle.”
