Warren County school nutrition employee Beth Elkins has been recognized as the school system’s Classified Employee of the Month.

She was nominated by Faye Taylor, director of school nutrition, and presented her award at the July meeting of the Warren County Board of Education.

“Beth has consistently gone above and beyond in her duties to ensure the School Nutrition Program is run effectively and efficiently,” said Taylor in her nomination letter. “Beth’s consistent, positive spirit and supportive presence are beyond comparison.”

Taylor pointed out Elkins has served as chapter president of the School Nutrition Association, has served on the Warren County Health Council, and the Warren County TNCEP Committee.

“Beth has done a tremendous amount of work in facilitating and submitting documents for the P-EBT program, which has assisted Warren County District families and children tremendously,” said Taylor. “Beth is an essential part of the Warren County School Nutrition Program and her hard work and dedication for 11 years in the Warren County School Nutrition Program has been a large part of our success.”
