A woman and her dog went airborne in Morrison Thursday afternoon.

Tracey Robinson, 61, was traveling south on S. Fair St. toward Manchester Hwy. in a Toyota Tundra. Deputy Peyton Norris of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department said Robinson was coming around the curve on S. Fair St. when she lost control of the vehicle.

“She lost control before the entrance of Morrison Market,” Norris said. “And she jumped the entrance, went airborne and landed in the ditch on the other side of the entrance.”

The Tundra came to a rest in a storm drainage ditch. Robinson was transported to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park for non-life-threatening injuries.

Also in the car was a dog named Snickers. The chihuahua was riding in the passenger seat at the time of the wreck. According to Norris, “The dog was unharmed.”

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. on Thursday.
