A McMinnville woman was taken by ambulance to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital Thursday afternoon with minor injuries sustained in a three-car collision.

Barbara Dodson, 63, of McMinnville was traveling in the direction of the Three Star Mall from the bypass when Karlos Sabbagh, 35, who was traveling eastbound on Sparta Street, failed to stop for a red light and crashed his Cadillac SRX into Ms. Dodson’s Ford F-150.

As a result of that collision, Ms. Dodson’s truck then struck the front end of a Ford Fusion being driven by 22-year-old Jai Heilmann of Hillsboro as she was stopped at the traffic light.

Sabbagh, a Sparta resident, was cited for running a red light by patrolman Matthew Stubblefield of the McMinnville Police Department.
