Main Street McMinnville has released the lineup for this year’s summer concert series.

“It’s May and folks are already anxious for the summer concert series to begin. Especially now more than ever, people need the good vibes that music provides,” said Teresa Prober, Main Street McMinnville executive director. “The lineup this year is a home run covering many genres that should excite everyone. We’re always pleased when we can bring back MSL favorites and also introduce new groups and sounds to the crowd.”

The eight-week series begins June 12 with Faith Jackson offering country/ rock and ends July 31 with Entice with funk/ soul.

In between those returning favorites, are some newcomers to the Main Street Live stage with Conner Lorre, The Anniebband, The Close, and Bobby Cool and the Nashville Players.

Conner Lorre is a singing impressionists and performs Neil Diamond, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett, Van Morrison and Elton John, just to name a few.

Anniebband combines great music with a high-energy performance playing today’s country and rock hits as well as the classics. The Close is an Americana band, while Bobby Cool and the Nashville Players offer country.

The show will go on despite COVID-19.

“This year we face new challenges due to COVID 19,” said Prober. “MSM has weighed the options and is moving forward with this year’s concert series. The outdoor venue offers plenty of room for social distancing and we encourage concert attendees to be mindful of others and feel free to wear a mask.”

Concerts are located on the West Lawn of the Security Federal Saving Bank. Food vendors open at 6 p.m., and the music kicks off at 7 p.m.
