The annual Holder Reunion will be at Centertown CIC. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Bring a covered dish.
There will be a week-long gospel meeting at Browntown Church of Christ until Sept. 6 with Bro. Eddie Sanders guest speaking. Sunday morning services begin at 9 a.m. with lunch following worship service. Evening service begins at 2:30 p.m. Week night services begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.

The Warren County Retired Teachers Association will have a meeting at 10 a.m. at the Magnolia Room at Warren County Administrative Offices. The program will be Audrey Morgan from Kelly Services. Refreshments will be sponsored by First National Bank of Middle Tennessee. Newly retired teachers are especially invited to come join the group. All retired teachers are invited. The 41st annual Mountaineer Folk Festival will take place Friday until Sunday, Sept. 8 at Fall Creek Falls State Park. The event includes Appalachian music in the Village, over 100 craft booths, demonstrators and food.

Warren County High School class of 1979 will be holding its 40th class reunion Sept. 28 at the Country Club. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., a group photo will be at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $40 per person. Money can be mailed to P.O. Box 8056, McMinnville, TN 37110. The class will also be attending the Homecoming football game Sept. 27 with a social at Smooth Rapids after the game.
