Central High School class of 1952 will have its monthly get-together at 12:30 p.m. at Medley’s Diner in Morrison. All classmates are invited to attend.
Wednesday, June 16
Everyone is welcome to attend a Book Review at 2 p.m. at Rock Island Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dr. Bill Campbell will present a 45-minute review of author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic book “The Great Gatsby.” Water and fellowship following.
Comedian and drama artist Trevor Thomas will be ministering at 6 p.m. at Smartt Assembly of God, located at 5542 Manchester Highway in Morrison. Everyone invited.
Saturday, June 15
Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will meet beginning at 2 p.m. This meeting is held in the Early Voting Room of Warren County Administration Offices on Locust Street. Guest speaker is J.B. Brown. Program: The wonderful world of GPS and how to use it for locating items.
Friday, June 18
A cook out will be held at 11 a.m. at Riverview Terrace, located at 114 Highland Drive. Proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. Barbecue chicken or pulled pork sandwiches. $10 per plate, which includes potato salad, baked beans, roll, dessert and drink. Delivery, limited to McMinnville, available for pre-orders made by June 17. Call 473-2033.

Juneteenth will be held beginning at 10 a.m. at the Young Men United center. The center is located at the old Bernard School.

A gospel meeting will be held at Spencer Church of Christ, located at the corner of Church Street and Highway 30 in Spencer. Dates are June 20-24. Speaker will be Ben Bailey. Sunday’s services are 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Fellowship meal to follow morning service. Monday thru Thursday at 7 p.m. nightly. Everyone invited.
Warren Masonic Lodge 125 is having a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, June 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. Spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert is $8 per person. Open to the public. The lodge is located at 308 E. Main Street, across the street from McMinnville Fire Station one.
