Christmas wreaths available as fundraiser

WCHS senior Samantha Jennings holds one of the attractive Christmas wreaths that can be sold by area groups as a fundraising tool. Contact Standard sports reporter Brad Durham at (615) 838-4426 for more information.

Your school, team, club, or organization can make $5 a wreath by selling award-winning, 24-inch Fraser Fur Christmas Wreaths from North Carolina.

The wreaths are shipped directly from North Carolina to your school or a location in McMinnville. These wreaths are fresh and have not been in warehouses or stores.

Limited samples are available upon request. Sample wreath and order forms are being delivered to each school in Warren County.

The Southern Standard and Brad Durham Fundraising want to give your school, team, club or organization an opportunity to raise funds in November. There is no minimum order and no shipping fees. We pay the sales tax. All you have to do is place an order.

You must collect payment and provide $25. You keep $5 from each wreath for your organization. No personal checks are accepted. Cash only or a check from your school or a cashier’s check.

“During COVID-19, we understand how tough it’s been for nonprofits to fundraise,” said Durham. “This is a way for any group, be it a church group or school organization, to sell wreaths and get $5 from every sale. It can add up quickly.”

Orders are due by Nov. 20.  Wreaths will be delivered the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which is Dec. 1.

A sample wreath is at the Southern Standard office on College Street, and wreaths can be ordered at the Southern Standard during office hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Payment can be made with cash, debit, or credit card.
