Christmas is coming a little early in McMinnville with the 37th annual Christmas in the Park.
Junior Auxiliary is excited to host this event once again and it will be on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be many activities for the whole family to enjoy. Junior Auxiliary member Sara Beth Collins says this year they are excited to be able to offer free ice skating. For this night only, ice skating will be free thanks to their sponsor First National Bank.
Santa Claus will also be making an appearance for free pictures at Pioneer Pediatrics. Be sure to bring your own camera or cell phone for the picture with Santa.
There will be crafts for the kids, calls to the North Pole, a bounce house and more. Christmas Luminaires in memory or in honor of loved ones will also be lit. They will be displayed and read aloud. Luminaries are $10 each, and anyone wishing to purchase one can reach out to Junior Auxiliary member. Their email is jamcminnville@gmail,com.
Downtown McMinnville will be full of holiday fun Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Junior Auxiliary encourages everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities.
