A proposed raise for the director of Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center has been cut from $5,000 to $4,000.County Budget and Finance Committee chair Terry Bell suggested a $2 increase for Pettrey.“Right now, she’s making about $11.23 an hour which is lower than any department head we’ve got,” said Bell. “My suggestion, and we did this with judicial commissioners to try to level some of the playing field, is give her $2.
